How can interior and exterior interflow to create a (fun)ctional environment for cyclists? While Queen Street West is bustling and lively, its parallel, Renfrew Place, is an intimate and peaceful spot for one to enjoy. To create a union between St. Patrick’s Square and 238 Queen Street West, folding doors span across the back of the building, with a ramp running along the Westside, joining the site with its environment. The West Ramp allows for cyclists and other visitors to move uninterruptedly from Renfrew Place into TCAT. The Centre for Active Transportation creates a seamless design where one can move swiftly between 238 Queen Street West and its surrounding environment.
